About Me

Qinglong Lu is an Associate Professor of the School of Intelligent Systems Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). Before joining SYSU, he was a Postdoctoral Associate at National University of Singapore. He obtained his doctoral degree from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Constantinos Antoniou (Editor-in-Chief of Transportation Research Part A). His research focuses on transportation system optimization, simulation-based optimization, data-driven control, statistical learning and mobility pattern modeling. Qinglong holds a Bachelor’s degree in Traffic Engineering from SYSU, China, and a Master of Science in Transportation Systems from TUM.
